Washington Post: CDC to ease Covid-19 isolation guidance
·1 min
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is expected to update its Covid-19 isolation guidance this spring. The agency will reportedly recommend that people no longer need to isolate once they have been fever-free for 24 hours and their symptoms are mild or improving. The updated guidance aims to align Covid-19 protocols with those for other respiratory viruses, such as the flu. California and Oregon have already broken with the CDC’s guidance, allowing positive individuals without symptoms to no longer isolate.
